Frozen Strawberry Banana Dog Treats
Prep: 5 min
Chilling: 30 min
Beat the heat with our frozen strawberry banana dog treats, a refreshing snack option for your furry companion. Made with fresh or frozen strawberries, banana, yogurt, honey, and water, these treats offer hydration and nutrition during warm weather. Treat your pet to a cool and satisfying indulgence without any artificial additives.
Ingredients
- 2 cups strawberries fresh or frozen (about 3/4 pound)
- 1 banana
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or regular yogurt, plain)
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup water
Equipment:
Silicone dog bone mold
Directions
1 Prepare your silicone mold by laying it on a small baking sheet or something else that is stiff for easy transfer to the refrigerator.
2 Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until combined, approximately
2 minutes.
3 Pour the mixture into the molds.
4 Transfer the treats to the freezer (approximately 30 minutes) until set.
5 Pop the dog treats out of the mold and store in the freezer in a container or bag.
Notes.
This is the dog silicone mold I used for this recipe. It comes with one bone shape
(smaller) and one paw shape (larger). You can use any mold size and shape as
preferred, however it will change the total number of treats you make in one
batch.
This batch is enough to fill both molds twice for a total of 56 treats.
You can easily use already frozen strawberries or bananas, or fresh.
